Terms of Service

You are visiting Pamela's Petals Data Entry and Typing Services. I come with 20 years of clerical administrative experience in typing, grammatical proofreading, and data entry. Below, please observe the description of terms and conditions in regards to the services I provide. Please read carefully.

You must specify your desired format for project requests of this service (i.e. Whether you want double-spaced, semi-block, verbatim, margin settings, alphabetized list). Your direct email address is required and must be valid to maintain follow-up communication and transference of project updates. Project duration may vary according to individual project factors. If you wish for a timely turnaround, please submit your file by email, in accordance with the earliest and latest date you prefer for start and finish of each project. This will enable me to give you an estimate on a completion date and a quote. Projects will be assessed on a duration scale of Short-term (less than five days), Intermediate (one to two weeks), and Long-term (three weeks or more).

I do not accept copy that is complicit with breaking the law, favors inciting violence, riots, disrespect, the disruption and upheaval of peace, nor anything that comes against the fundamentals of my faith. An exception of this rule may be if the submitted material is an unbiased report for purpose of informing.

Full payment must be promptly remitted within the specified time frame, before deliverables are released to the Client. Transactions for this service may be handled through PayPal and Zelle. A retainer fee of $20 must be deposited before start of each project and will be deducted or applied to the balance due upon completion of the project.

*NOTE: Medical and Legal transcription are not included with this service. You will receive a detailed agreement outlined and catered to each project scope discussed. You agree to adhere to the terms of this service, once a project has been approved and commenced. These terms are subject to change.

Transcription

The apps I work with are Express Scribe, Microsoft Word and Quark Xpress. My fee is $3.00 per audio minute received. I provide status reports of work progress for the duration of the project. For 60 minute audio files, please allow a TAT of 12 to 24 hours, provided the following conditions are met: Audio must be in English and clearly have little to no background noise. Heavy accents and poor enunciation may account for extended time. Please provide a sample of the actual job. Minutes typed may be less than quoted the better an audio file sounds.

The project TAT may also be extended with the inclusion of proofreading and if the audio contains more than one speaker. The fee remains the same.

General Typing

Scanned or handwritten documents must be legible. Fee is $5.00 per page typed including editing and proofreading.

Newsletters, certificates and templates are $10.00 per finished layout; these are customized to your specifications. Graphical placement is an additional $0.25 per image.

Data Entry

Data must be already prepared or in some legible form for entry. Data collection and research is not included with this service. Fee is $0.35 per entry with a minimum of 200 entries.
